Battery Fits - Charger seems sketchy

The battery works in my camera just fine. I am not sure whether one should trust the included charger, as it only has two contacts and my original (Pentax) charger and the replacement battery both have three contracts. I believe the third contact is used to either protect against overheating (fire risk) or imbalanced charging of the multiple cells in the battery back. Either way that seems to be an important feature lacking from the Wsasabi Power charger.
